About Denise:
My first introduction to RDI was in 2006 at a “Get on Board” fair at City Place. As I entered the room, I was drawn to RDI’s mission of working with at-risk children who, by no fault of their own, were living in shelters. By my having a degree in early childhood development from Texas Woman’s University and having served as a daycare director, I felt that my knowledge could and would be a great asset.
I have volunteered with RDI for many years and received the Individual Volunteer Promise Award in 2010. I have previously served on our Executive, Advisory and Auxiliary boards. I have a caring and patient heart and a strong love for children, especially those at-risk.
