THANKS WENDI – We are grateful for Wendi McMullen who has served as our interim Volunteer & Special Projects Director since the fall. Many of you have had been communicating with Wendi during the last several months. What you may not know that she has had a long history with Rainbow Days – Wendi has worn many different hats, from Program Director to COO! Wendi graciously put on her interim Volunteer & Special Projects Director hat to help us in the Volunteer Department for the past several months. We appreciate all she has done to help strengthen our Volunteer department. As her last days with us are coming to a close, we wish to extend our deepest appreciation for her service to Rainbow Days and know that she will not be a stranger!
Volunteer Coordinator Transition
WELCOME SUNNI – You may have already had the privilege of meeting Sunni Roaten, Rainbow Days’ Events and Communications Manager, at one of our events this past year – she has taken many pictures of you working with the children we serve. We are thrilled that Sunni will be transitioning to her new role over the summer as Volunteer & Events Manager. You will be begin receiving emails from her starting June 11th and throughout the summer on your Volunteer assignments. Sunni is also the events manager of our annual luncheon, which will be held on June 22. So, she will be more available in person in July at Camp Bravo and at Back-to-School! New Resource Development & Communications Specialist
WELCOME KATY – You may remember Katy Cornwall, from last summer when she was our Resource Development Intern. Well, we are proud to share that Katy just graduated from Mizzou and has just joined our team as our Communications & Development Specialist. You will see Katy at all of our summer camps – taking pictures, helping the Family Connection team and working with our Volunteers directly. Family Connection Manager
CONGRATS HANNAH – We are also pleased to announce that Hannah Donaldson, who has been with Rainbow Days for over two years, has been promoted to Family Connection Manager, where she will be assuming additional roles and responsibilities as it relates to our special events, after-school program and food delivery program. You will be seeing more of her if you volunteer at Summer Camp and she may also be giving you training and direction on what is needed as a Volunteer.
