Summer Camp Volunteer Opportunities
Kids' University
Kids’ University is an educational camp experience held on a local college campus. Children take fun and interactive STEM classes on math, science, technology, engineering and a wide spectrum of career options. On the last day of camp, campers participate in a special graduation ceremony during which they wear colorful caps and gowns, hear an inspiring commencement address and receive diplomas.
Camp Bravo
Camp Bravo! is a performing and visual arts camp where children participate in classes on music, dance, acting, cooking, ceramics and other art forms. Camp Bravo! culminates in a special onstage performance alongside children’s performing with local artists in front of a live audience of parents, shelter staff and volunteers.
Outdoor Adventure Camp
Outdoor Adventure Camp is a traditional camp experience that involves swimming, archery, fishing, horseback riding, zip lining and other beloved camp activities. The camp exposes children to nature and fosters teamwork, physical exercise and a love of the outdoors.
Back-to-School Celebration
Back-to-School Celebration provides over 1,000 at-risk and homeless children with backpacks, school supplies, uniforms and other resources they need to start the new school year. Rainbow Days prepares Dallas-area homeless and at-risk children and youth to go back to school confident and ready for success.
