Rainbow Days’ Back-to-School Celebration will serve over 1,300 homeless children this year. At this special carnival-like event, children from area shelters enjoy a fun afternoon of games, activities, and refreshments and at the conclusion of the event, each school-ages child receives a new backpack filled with required school supplies and a new school uniform to start off the new school year! There are LOTS of volunteer opportunities for this event as well as needs for donations of school supplies for high school, elementary and kindergarten students, and baked goods to help make the celebration a success.
