Meet the Kids
Thank you Rainbow Days for all of the back to school clothes. I had a really beautiful outfit and it was blue, my favorite color! Also, the back to school party was fun. It is really nice to know that people can care for you without even knowing you.
Rainbow Days group was really helpful for me because it wasn’t only talking about drugs and alcohol. We got to learn about our feelings and ways that we can handle our feelings even when we’re mad. We got to learn about ourselves and our dreams and about each other.
Rainbow Days helps me to relieve my stress, talk about my problems, and make better choices. That helps me to be a better person.
I love Rainbow Days because everything we talked about helps me be proud of myself for who I am and proud of my decision not to do drugs.
I loved coming to group every week because we got to do activities while we learned about things that help us in life.
However imperfect my life is… I’m nearly 30, have never been in trouble with the Law, nor am I an addict. I’ll always look fondly upon the time I spent with you. I just wanted to thank you for what you did, it means a lot to me. You’re good people. Keep up the good work, I’m sure it also means alot to a bunch more people out there.
Leadership Camp was great! I learned to never listen to someone that tells me that I can’t do something and to take the steps to do what I want to do. Don’t just say it, but do it.
Rainbow Days’ mission is to help children and youth in adversity build coping skills and resilience to create positive futures
